Particulars: My grand-patents Xavier Lapointe son of Joseph Lapointe and Genevieve Laflamme married Henriette Gaumond daughter of Jules Gaumont and Melveina Denis. They had 3 or 4 children that were born in the Gaspe, Barachois area. Alberta Lapointe, Bernadette Lapointe, Arthur Lapointe and Eugenie Lapointe born December 02, 1918. She died at the age of about 14 or 16 months; which would make it 1920. If anyone would have any of this info, it would be greatly appreciated

My grandfather was Carl Stanley son of William Elias Stanley (born 1884 or 1885), he had 6 siblings (Benjamin, Matilda, Alice, Ruby, Nick & Stillman) and am looking for any potential cousins. As well I am interested in any furthur info regarding William Elias Stanley's father Philip B Stanley (1860) & mother Sybil Rose (1863) and their families.

My questions arent well informed yet but I've traced the Roses back to a Pierre Rose born on Guernsey in 1725 but nothing else there. Also Jean Rose who married Marie Mauger on nov 18, 1811 the town church of St Peterport, Guernsey. They were the ones who came to Gaspe but I cant figure out when.

Particulars: Grandfather, Stanislais Dionne, born Cap Chat March 17, 1876. Had brothers Freddy, Ernest and Joseph Dionne. I met many cousins in 1946, when I was 6, can't remember any names. The family was in the family fishing busines. I remember large racks of cod drying on the beach. I could look out the front windows and see the ocean, across the street. Freddy visited family in Massachusetts in the 60's and said that the family was still in the fishing business, but I was unable to understand French, none of the Canadian family spoke English. My father's name was Joseph, born 1909 in Massachusetts. Any info appreciated.
