I am hoping that I can find anyone related to Wilfrid Nicolas that is in Gaspe as I will be making my way to Quebec in June and would like to meet any relatives I might have. My grandmother left with my dad and uncle when they were both very young and never returned, so I have no idea who I might be related to. |

| Particulars: My ggg grandmother Margaret Munro was born in Scotland approx 1730, sister of John Munro. She had two children, Hugh Munro b 1764 Rosshire, Scotland, and a daughter, name unknown. After being widowed, she went with her two children to New York. She married Donald Munro in 1774 in New York. They were in Montreal about 1779. They travelled by ship from Montreal in 1784 to Paspebiac. Donald Munro died 1804 at Caraquet. Margaret's son Hugh Munro m. Martha Sherar, lived in Bathurst for 40 years and died there in 1846. I am interested in any information about what happened to Margaret Munro and her daughter, and any children she and Donald might have had. |

| Particulars: would love to get any info about the O'Hara family. what they did for a living or where in fact they lived. Michael O'Hara was from Ireland and settled in Gaspe in about 1800, he was married to a Margaret Collin. My G grandfather was born in Gaspe in about 1866, on his birth certificate his surname is spelt O'HEIR. Yet on the 1901 survey the surname is spelt O'HARE. He settled in Everton (Liverpool suburb)

Particulars: I am currently doing a family tree and could use any info someone might have. I also have quite a bit of info that may be useful to someone working on there own. My family originated in Jersey, Channel Isles and took up residence in the Gaspe. My father's parents were John Francis LeGresley Jr. and Henrietta Kate LeGresley. My Father had three sisters and six brothers Florence, Marjorie, Kathleen, Arthur, Percy, Harold, Ralph, Leonard & Kenneth. My Father married Ruth May Binet from St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Isles. December 20th 1945. I was born in Montreal, Que, January 16 1958. I am currently residing in Kamloops, B.C with my wife Jill and daughter Victoria. As a child my family and I spent our summers in the Gaspe visiting with my Father's siblings. I have very fond memories of Gascon, Port Daniel, Chandler, Perce, Fox River, Pabos, Grande Riviere, and the town of Gaspe. I remember some great times and in the Gaspe with my Uncle Harold and my Uncle Ralph and their families. I haven't been back since my Dad passed away in 1988 but I plan to come back soon with my family. I hope this information is helpful to expanding the Genealogy Register of Gaspe.
