Particulars: I am currently searching information on Angélique Gauthier born 9 Jan 1855, Bonaventure. Married Lazare Bujold. Had one child Marie Bujold. Marie Bujold married Thomas Arsenault (who is my Great-grand-father). After Lazare Bujold died in 1912, his wife Angélique move away belived to be at the Ristigouche Indian Reserve, Avignon, qué. According to the Ste-Anne-de-Ristigouche 1923 Register, Angélique Gauthier passed away 28 Oct 1923 and was buried on the 30 Oct 1923 at the Ristigouche Cemetary, Qué. What I am searching is any information on Angélique Gauthier from 1912 to 1923. The family would like to know " Why" she moved from Bonaventure? Particulars: Hi. My father's aunt, Marie-Aurea (or Mariane) Marcotte married a guy named Philippe Roussi, born in Grande-Rivière, on July 18th 1884. The parents of Philippe Roussi are Rémi Roussi and Mariane Leclisse. Philippe Roussi died on October 14th 1962 in Gaspé. Marie-Aurea (baptism name) ou Mariane (marriage name) Marcotte was born on July 29th 1885. The problem is that I can't find the date she died. Do you think you can help me? Thanks Richard René

Particulars: Jean Emilien Cormier, born Maria, in Paroisse de St Jules, in 1913, is my maternal grandfather. Lena Gough, born in 1912, is my maternal grandmother. They married in Montreal and had four daughters and one son. In fact, they had five daughters, but the first passed away in her third year of life, of double pneumonia. Lorraine, their fourth daughter (Maria Anita Lorraine), born in 1943 in Arvida, is my mother. Lorraine married John Joseph Symons in 1968, and they have four children (I'm the eldest, born in 1969). Me (1969), Glenn (1970), Jennifer (1973) and Margot (1976). I have a daughter, Frida Eloise Marie Symons-Swann, born 2007, in Montreal.

Particulars: I would like more information on one of my earliest Gaspe Coast ancestors by the name of Aime Orfroi who was married to Marie Dubigeon. They lived in or near La Nouvelle in the early 1800s and on January 12. 1819 their son, Jacques Orfroi married Marie Landry who was a widow of Louis Arseneau of La Nouvelle. Jacques Orfroi (Orfroy) was a 'captaine - navigateur' by profession. On November 25, 1819 a son (also named Jacques)was born. Godfather: Nicolas Allard and Godmother: Marguerite Arsenault. The priest's name was Jean Fr. R. Gagnon.
