Particulars: I recently found out that my family has Miqmak Nation connection, starting with Ameridienne Miqmak who married a man named Guilliame Caplan. They had 5 children. One of whom, was named Catherine. She married a man named John Huard. I'm trying to establish the linage between my native roots and my French roots with the Greniers/Leblancs. My Great Grandparents were Joseph Stanley Grenier (1889-1950)and Elisabeth Leblanc-Grenier-Ingman (1904-1989. Joseph was a WW1 veteran and a police officer in the Timmins/Kirkland Lake area.
