Gaspe Connection: father born there
Town/Village/Area: Malbay (I think)
Primary Family Names: Lucas
Secondary Family Names:
Time Period: 1870s to 1940s
Particulars: My father, Lorne Lucas, was born in Gaspe in 1947, son of Daniel and Beatrice Lucas. I believe Daniel's father was named Adolphus. If this is the "Adolphus David Lucas" I have seen listed in various places, then I can trace the family back at least as far as Samuel Lucas of Plymouth, Mass. However, I can't find information on the children of Adolphus David Lucas to confirm this. I would be interested in any info or contact with living relatives in the area, particularly anyone familiar with Daniel Lucas and his generation.
